Event Description/Details
| Date: Tuesday, September 23rd 2008 Topic:Enhancing Project Performance, by Asking the Right Questions Guest Speaker: Julie Grabb, PMP Time: 5:30 to 9:00 PM 5:30 to 6:30 sign in and networking 6:30 to 9:00 dinner and presentation Location: Holiday Inn 30 Fairway Road South Kitchener, Ontario Cost: $39.00 PMI-CTT members $44.00 non members Abstract: Mind reading and telepathy are skills that a Project Manager would love to have. If you had those skills, you wouldn t need this session. Think back to frustrations you have had on past projects. Think back to the reasons for project failure. I will wager that many of the causes of those failures and aggravations have to do with unclear or inadequate communications, invalid assumptions or missing information. This is a presentation on how, when and who to ask questions of to help your project succeed. This presentation will look at some key communication skills specifically related to asking questions and the importance of questions on a project. Samples of key questions will also be given. Cancellation policy: Due to the commitment and cost associated with our hosting venues, failure to cancel your registration 48 hours prior will require full payment be made. You may cancel your registration, for any event, by emailing events@pmi-ctt.org. |
