Event Description/Details

For any project or program manager one of the key success factors is an engaged and active sponsor. Without a sponsor roadblocks, budgeting, negotiation for resources, risk management, and other challenges both internal and external are difficult to overcome.

The changes in our economic and business world are making the sponsor an even more critical and essential role. Executive accountability and alignment with corporate strategy will only become more visible. Issues like transparency, communications, alignment, people management and creating superior results will be will be vital for the sponsor of today.

What the project/program manager does to help gain strong executive involvement, commitment and sponsorship can make or break the success of the strategic initiative. Come to this interactive workshop on how to coach your executive sponsor on their role, being proactive and what is takes to ensure project success.
