Event Description/Details
Most people think they only need to manage their boss when they have a bad boss, and only seek out advice and coaching when their relationship with their boss is poor. Everyone can get more out of their relationship with their manager though. Leadership topics, books, speeches abound about learning how to manage up. This is the most critical relationship in anyone's working life and yet we don't always get proactive and energized about managing it. We provide tips for managing your boss - and the first principle is that it is your job to manage your boss - no matter how great the boss is or how fabulous your relationship. Curious about how people who always have successful relationships with their managers do it? Join us for a thought-provoking, challenging, yet practical session on this fundamental relationship.
