Jan 26th, 2011 The 360 Employee - How to get the most from your project team members (and yourself)!
Wednesday Jan 26th, 2011Time: 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Location
| St. George Hall 665 King St. North Waterloo, Ontario |
Event Description/Details
We all have multiple roles as leader, follower, and peer. But 180 of the puzzle is missing. In a dance, there is the person who leads and the one who follows. Neither partner can be successful without the other performing his or her role capably. Much time and effort is focused on leadership training while very little emphasis is placed on the skills of good followership. As a result we have project teams where members experience conflict, communication challenges, and productivity issues because they don't understand the whole 360. Wouldn't it be great if project team members could quickly come together and interact as effectively as skilled dance partners? Check out website: flipskills.com. Fees: $20 - members pre-registration $25 - non-members or members at the door Agenda: 6:30 - 7:00 pm - Registration, Networking & Light Refreshments 7:00 - 8:30 pm - Presentation/Workshop 8:30 - 8:45 pm - Chapter Announcements & Wrap-up Cancellation policy: Due to the commitment and cost associated with our hosting venues, failure to cancel your registration 48 hours prior will require full payment be made.
